This is an opportunity to work with our dedicated team who are opening the UK’s first community rock pub and venue. You will report to our Pub and Duty Managers.

Responsibilities
- Maintaining a friendly, approachable demeanour
- Serving customers with drinks and food
- Collecting payment and operating the till
- Cleaning and maintaining the bar and equipment
- Following health and safety rules and other company policies
- Communicating with line managers
Person Specification
ESSENTIAL
- Ability to work under pressure
- Exceptional communication and organisational skills
- Good command of spoken English
- Clean and well presented, in keeping with working in a rock bar
DESIRABLE
- Affinity with alternative culture
- Experience of customer service in a pub or bar environment
- Understanding of stock and cash handling
SALARY: £7.60 per hour, equivalent to £15,808 per annum, pro rata
HOURS: 15 hours per week; optional overtime may be available
START DATE: To be agreed, August-September 2016
CONTRACT: Permanent, subject to probationary period
